🏆 Budget On-page SEO Tool
Page Optimizer Pro is an affordable alternative to on-page SEO tools like Surfer and MarketMuse.
Page Optimizer Pro Review
In this Page Optimizer Pro review, I will present an overview of the main features of this powerful page optimization software as well as give you a complete walkthrough of how I use POP to achieve increased rankings for my desired keywords.
I personally use POP in my own niche site business, so I am more than qualified to give an unbiased review of this tool.
TL;DR: I love PageOptimizer Pro and recommend that any website owner who is interested in achieving higher rankings on Google sign up for their FREE 7-day trial.
What is Page Optimizer Pro?
Are you trying to make money through your website? If so, you can’t afford to ignore the power of a good SEO campaign.
Not only is an SEO optimized website more likely to get seen by Google and other search engines, but it’s also going to be more likely to receive organic traffic.
Page Optimizer Pro is an on-page SEO tool that helps you optimize your content for page one rankings on Google and in turn, generates more organic traffic for your website.
Who is the Creator of Page Optimizer Pro?
Page Optimizer Pro is the brainchild of SEO rockstar Kyle Roof.
Kyle is the owner of the High Voltage SEO agency and is also one of the founders of Internet Marketing Gold which bills itself as “Netflix for SEOs”.
Kyle is one of the premier SEOs on the planet and is best known for his extensive testing of Google’s search algorithm.
Who is Page Optimizer Pro For?
PageOptimizer Pro is for anyone who publishes content on the web and wants it to rank better on Google’s search results.
Most users find that after using POP on their target pages they see fast ranking improvements.
Page Optimizer Pro Pricing
There are 2 different pricing tiers (Single User/Agency) each with 3 pricing plans available (Basic/Premium/Unlimited).
The Single User tier is more than enough for most solopreneurs or small teams.
The Unlimited plan is the most cost-effective and allows you to run as many optimizations as you need each month (within fair use). No other on-page SEO tool that I know of offers the luxury of unlimited reports.
To put this into context, Surfer’s Pro plan is $99 per month and has a limit of 30 reports while their $199 per month Business plan limits users to 70 reports.
A great use case for the unlimited plan is for the website operator who has a large portfolio, or someone who pumps out mass amounts of AI content each month from a tool like ClosersCopy or Jasper.
If you run an agency or a large publishing operation and need access to subaccounts and project level access for employees/clients then you may want to look at the Agency tier.
All 3 of the plans in the Agency tier come with unlimited reports, and as the price increases, you are simply getting access to more sub-accounts.
The Agency plans all come with:
What is the POP refund policy?
Because PageOptimizer Pro offers a FREE 7-day trial, they do not offer refunds.
However, as stated on their FAQ page:
“That said, from time to time we understand things come up or there may be an error in billing.”
If you feel like a refund is warranted, you can request one from support and explain your situation.
Everything that you need to fully optimize your on-page SEO for search is included with a POP plan.
Kyle also included some really advanced features that you can only find from competitors that cost way more per month than Page Optimizer Pro.
This feature is the one that makes POP such an attractive purchase for most power SEOs.
No other on-page optimization tool offers unlimited reports (if there is a tool and I’m missing it feel free to drop it in the comments below 👇).
Page Optimizer Pro comes with a Chrome plugin that allows you to optimize your page directly inside of the WordPress editor.
You can also optimize your text inside of a Google Doc if that is how you like to write your posts.
Secret Key Access
Every report you run comes with a “secret key” that allows outsider access to your optimization reports with having full access to your POP account.
The use case for the secret key is that you can tell your writers to download the aforementioned Chrome plugin and give them the secret key for the report associated with the post they are writing.
Advanced Content Editor
POP includes a live content editor where you can make the recommended edits to your page inside of the “report card” view.
Once you have fully optimized your page you can simply cut and paste the HTML into your WordPress editor.
Exact Keyword Recommendations
Using its patented algorithm, PageOptimizer Pro tells you exactly where (and how many times) on your page you should place each keyword.
Now there is no more guesswork on your part.
With POP you can download any or all of your reports in one click.
Simply navigate to the “report history” and check the box of the reports you want to download. It’s that easy!
Latent Semantic Indexing (LSI) terms are conceptually related keywords that Google uses to understand the content on your page.
POP provides you with all of the LSI terms needed to quickly rank your keyword on page one of Google.
What types of schema are your top competitors using?
Page Optimizer Pro will show you which schema (or combination of schemas) you should be using on your page as well.
Page Optimizer Pro Walkthrough
Below I am going to walk you through how I use Page Optimizer Pro to run a report and optimize a page for a specific keyword.
How to Use Page Optimizer Pro
You have signed up for your 7-day free trial, or a paid plan. So what’s next?
Let’s run your first report!
The first thing that you want to do is run a report for the keyword and page you are trying to optimize.
There are two different setup modes you can choose from: POP Pro and Pop Custom
I tend to always use the Pro setup. It’s faster to set up and in most cases, it’s all you need to get an accurate optimization report.
The Custom mode is more complex and gives you granular control over which competitors and pages you are analyzing.
I would suggest testing both and seeing which mode gives you the best ranking results.
For this walkthrough, I am going to use the Pro mode.
Once you choose Pro mode you will have to fill in some more information regarding the report you want to be run.
After you enter all of the required information, click the “next” button and give POP around 3-5 minutes to analyze your page against the top pages ranking for your desired keyword(s).
Once POP has completed its analysis, you will have access to your full report. Located at the top of the report is the “summary” section. This is where you can see your current/target word count, page sections, and optimization score.
Pro Tip: If the recommendation is to add words to your page, you should do this first while using the POP Chrome plugin to edit your page based on the main content and subheading recommendations.
Beneath the “summary” section of the report is the term recommendations for each section of your page:
The page sections are:
POP provides you a minimum and maximum range to use a term in each section.
The goal is to turn every recommendation from red to green. If you have done this your page is well optimized for the keyword you want to rank for.
Finally, click on the “content prompts” tab to get even more insight into how you should be structuring your page as well as some related keywords to consider adding to your content.
Top Page Optimizer Pro Alternatives
This Page Optimizer Pro review would not be complete without mentioning some of their top competitors.
Surfer SEO is the Page Optimizer Pro alternative that almost all SEOs and content marketers are familiar with.
It’s the market leader and deservedly so. Surfer SEO comes with all of the bells and whistles plus it is trusted by some of the biggest brands in the world to optimize their content for Google.
Surfer is much more expensive than POP, but it’s definitely worth the elevated price tag.
Frase is a relative newcomer to the on-page SEO optimization party, but don’t let that fool you.
Because it is a powerhouse in its own right.
Frase’s main strength is how easily it helps you create SEO-optimized outlines for your posts.
If you are looking for an op-page SEO tool closer to the price point of Page Optimizer Pro, Frase is certainly worth a test drive.
MarketMuse is the most expensive of the Page Optimizer Pro alternatives, but it is also the best overall tool for optimizing your content to rank on Google search.
MarketMuse really shines when it comes to figuring out what content you should be writing to help increase your site’s topical authority.
If you are serious about creating content that will outrank even the savviest of your competitors, then MarketMuse is a tool that may benefit you greatly
Is Page Optimizer Pro Worth It?
After having previously used both Surfer SEO and MarketMuse for my content marketing business, I can safely say that Page Optimizer Pro is the best value of any on-page SEO optimization tool.
For only $22 per month and a FREE 7-day trial, anyone who is looking to get more organic traffic to their website can take advantage of the patented optimization recommendations of Page Optimizer Pro.
So given the inexpensive price point and the top-tier optimization algorithm, I have concluded that yes, Page Optimizer Pro is worth it!
Is Page Optimizer Pro Legit?
With such inexpensive plans and unlimited monthly reports you may be wondering “Is Page Optimizer Pro legit?”
Well after using it in my own affiliate marketing business I can say without a shadow of a doubt that yes Page Optimizer Pro is legit!
In a sea of on-page SEO optimization tools, there is no better value than POP…period.
In conclusion, Page Optimizer pro is an extremely powerful on-page optimizer that can help novice and pro SEOs alike achieve higher rankings for their website pages.
With Page Optimizer Pro you can increase traffic to your most important pages using a cheap and easy-to-use SEO tool.
